This project trained fourteen girls from Orange Farm in computer skills, writing skills. The workshops also included modules on children's rights, gender empowerment and field trips to enrich the girl's understanding of maths, science and technology.
SAWID (South African Women In Dialogue)
Members from the Gauteng Girls'Net club participated in the SAWID conference in July 2005 at the University of Pretoria. SAWID is a forum for ongoing dialogue among South African women to establish a common agenda for women's development. Girls'Net ICT Camps
